Obituary
Daniel Jude Sweet, 44, of Albany, NY passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020. He was born in Nassau, NY on October 22, 1976 to Bill and Maureen Sweet. He was the youngest of nine children.
Dan worked for the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance since 2003, where he most recently worked as a Tax Compliance Representative.
He was predeceased by his parents and his oldest brother David. He is survived by his two children, Brian and Lucas, and his stepson Sam, along with his siblings and their spouses: his brothers Steven, Chris (Sue), Mark ((Dana (predeceased)), Michael (Marilee) and sisters Paula (Doug), Catherine (Duane) and Sandy. Dan was also survived by half sister Pati, which he met a few years ago, as well as her three children. Dan will leave behind his many nieces and nephews who he loved greatly, and they will miss him deeply.
Dan was most proud of his children, with whom he shared a special bond.
Dan was known for his unique sense of humor and his love for his family and friends.
