Rockefeller, Kimberly Ruth Reinhart Rockefeller, 70, of Eichybush Rd, Kinderhook, New York passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Albany Medical Center. Born on March 23, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Fred L. and Margaret E. (Roider) Reinhart Jr. Kim was a devoted wife, step-mother and friend to many. For the past 21 years she has been a loving caregiver of Harlan Rockefeller, her husband, who was severely injured in an accident. She loved her Ichabod Crane school classmates and kept in touch with many of them throughout the years. Kim was interested in many areas of the Kinderhook and Niverville local history. She graduated from Ichabod Crane Senior High School in 1970 and from Schenectady County Community College in 1984 for Culinary Arts. She loved to cook and cater large events. No one could make a more delicious and spectacular cake than Kim. She was an avid Boston Red Sox fan as well. Kim is survived by her husband, Harlan Rockefeller and one brother, Eric Reinhart (Diane) and their sons. She is also survived by step-daughters, Sarah Klein and her two children, Rowan and Avery and Meadow Rockefeller, sister-in-law Ella Rodin (Libby) and her partner, Guido Melliger. Kim was predeceased by her parents Fred and Margaret Reinhart, her brother Paul Reinhart and sister Christine Reinhart Spencer. Kim was best friends and part of the Niverville core five which includes Nancy Doyle, Veronica Newkirk Turner, Leslie Depew and Char (Kolb) Gaylord. Arrangements are pending for a spring celebration of Kim’s life.
