Douglas, Marc D. ALBANY 

Marc D. Douglas, 47 died tragically on Sunday, June 25, 2017.  The son of Dale Douglas of Hamden, CT and Linda Douglas, he was raised in Albany from the time he was five years old.  He was a life-long fan of the Boston Red Sox, a good cook, and a fan of NASCAR. He loved Albany’s many free festivals and concerts, something he was introduced to at a young age by his mother. He liked to lend a helping hand or an empathetic ear.  The streets of downtown Albany and the tri-city area were his home, where he touched many lives with small kindnesses.  He is predeceased by his mother and survived by his father and stepmother Patricia, sisters Lisa Douglas of Grapevine TX, Dawn (Eric Highter) Douglas of Albany, NY, Dawn Pearson of Northford, CT, niece Maille and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 2 at noon at the Grand Street Community Arts Center.
