Maureen McCumber

Maureen McCumber, 63, of Colonie NY passed away unexpectedly Monday morning November 7th at St. Peter's hospital. Born in 1960, she was pre deceased by her parents Kathleen and Harold Hall. She is survived by her Husband Richard McCumber of Schenectady, her two daughters Ashley McCumber and Shawna (Josh) Volks , her five grandchildren Jeweliana Brown, Isaiah Santiago, Destiny Brown, Joshua Volks Jr and Aryia Volks, siblings Eileen (Wendell) Williams, Colleen Ring, Micheal Hall and Charles (Georgiana) Hall. She is predeceased by her other siblings Harold (Dickie) Hall and Thomas (Bommer) Hall. She is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends she considered family. Many people knew her as Mama Moe because she was a mother and friend to everyone who she came across. Maureen was always there to help in your time of need. Her most prized accomplishment was being "Grammy" to her grandchildren. She loves them with every piece of her heart. Maureen always had a love for being outdoors, camping by the water , and sitting around a large camp fire surrounded by her loved ones. 

There will be a celebration of life held on November 12th at 1:30 p.m at the VFW post 8692 located at 140 VFW Rd, Albany NY 12205.
