Ruth Thompsen

Ruth Thompsen passed away due to heart surgery complications on April 4, 2022.  Even though a failing heart took her away from this world, her loving heart left a beacon of light for us all.

Ruth is a beautiful musical soul that has touched so many.  She taught music, was a part of the Yankee Doodle Band and played in many bands throughout the years, as well as solo gigs. 

Ruth, being spiritual person and a founding member of Unity Church in Albany, could naturally open up other people and connect with them deeply.  Words alone cannot truly express how much Ruth will be missed by her family and friends. 

Services will be held Wednesday, April 13, 1 pm, at Rensselaer Voluntary Ambulance 901 3rd St, Rensselaer, NY 12144
