William Shumway Obituary

Albany-William G. Shumway age, 59, passed away suddenly September 13, 2023 at Albany Medical Center. William was a Navy Veteran and worked for over 20 years as a Merchant Marine as an engineer. He later went on to work for Stickermule in Amsterdam, N.Y. for the past 6 yrs.

William is predeceased by his parents Charles H. Shumway Sr. and Margaret Shumway. Brother Carl Shumway and sister Charlene MacFawn. William is survived by his wife Nancy Goldsmith Shumway. His children Christopher, Kory, Nicole and Caitlyn Shumway. His Sisters Marguerite Salazar, Joy Woodard and Tracie Jones. Also survived by a brother Charles H. Shumway Jr. (Mabel). Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will held at a later date.
